Thank you for your support!

Since 1996, Freedom Rings Radio has purchased its on-air time from WRMN Radio. We thank WRMN for offering its air time to a show like Freedom Rings Radio, given the often controversial nature of the philosophical, economic, social, and political topics discussed on the show.

Please support our advertisers. Their commitment to Freedom Rings Radio pays for much of the air time. However, our current advertising time doesn't cover all of the costs. If you would like to advertise on the show, please contact Ken at ken@freedomrings.net

Unfortunately, despite the commitment of our advertisers and Ken's personal financial support, Freedom Rings is behind in its payments to WRMN. What would really help would be for our listeners to become monthly pledgers to the show. If you are interested in helping Freedom Rings Radio pay off its bills, and possibly get back to its original two-hour format, please consider becoming a monthly pledger.

Donations directly to WRMN for Freedom Rings Radio are not tax deductible. If you would like the benefit of tax deductibility for either your one-time donation or your monthly pledge, please consider donating through The Heartland Institute. Learn more about donating or pledging here.

An Ode to Al Gore Man

Mendacious Al gore man, the slithery snake,
Al gamboled in yarn spin, and spun out his fake,
From Love Canal to Love Story, delusion was in,
he proffered his glory in Nam–with a grin.

Dot com and dot net, all figured, Al, he,
And Tipper and Al, in Love Story be,
Discovery abounds in Al’s insular mind,
What next feat will Al Gore man, himself to assign?

He harvests tobacco, and sprayed it and chopped it,
And spiked it , and stripped it , and sold it for profit,
In hot scorching sun, now those are the facts.
When you tell so much truth, no covering of tracks.

Dot com and dot net, all figured, Al, he,
And Tipper and Al, in Love Story be,
Discovery abounds in Al’s insular mind,
What next feat will Al Gore man, himself to assign?

And then came the Internet, now legion his fame,
Invention is Al’s mindset, a trifling sport, game.
He plotted the 1s and 0s it is clear,
In hexidecimal language, Al had no known peer.

Dot com and dot net, all figured, Al, he,
And Tipper and Al, in Love Story be,
Discovery abounds in Al’s insular mind,
What next feat will Al Gore man, himself to assign?

The earth’s in a balance, he taught us so simply,
Get rid of the talents that Detroit has, now limply,
Out Caddie, out Chevie, out Ford now and Datsun,
Out Dodges and land rovers
SUVs —all the lot of ‘em.
Internal combustion’s infernally evil,
Make way for the new age of retro medieval.

Dot com and dot net, all figured, Al, he,
And Tipper and Al, in Love Story be,
Discovery abounds in Al’s insular mind,
What next feat will Al Gore man, himself to assign?

Then Al runs for President with so much beration,
To watch for those schemes so risking the nation,
Like choice in retirement and funds which one earns,
And leave the environment for just rats and the birds.
Big brother will decide what’s right and what’s just,
And you’ll get a bromide, no prescription drug bust,
From cradle to grave Al Gore man provides,
Assorted new rights, tradit’nal ones aside.
A right to ones health, make cancer illegal,
A right to a job, make-work becomes regal,
A right to a breakfast, in school for the tykes,
No right to your property, and cars?, no, ride bikes.

Dot com and dot net, all figured, Al, he,
And Tipper and Al, in Love Story be,
Discovery abounds in Al’s insular mind,
What next feat will Al Gore man, himself to assign?

So comes the election, and what do you know,
He loses at first blush, in Florida its hinged,
For Palm Beach has blue hairs, whose minds are quite slow,
Who can’t punch a card, and chads are the curse,
Buchannan or Gore, “I can’t see the diffrence,
I voted for a Nazi, go get me a nurse.”

Dot com and dot net, all figured, Al, he,
And Tipper and Al, in Love Story be,
Discovery abounds in Al’s insular mind,
What next feat will Al Gore man, himself to assign?

And then came the next count, Al loses again,
He cries to the Supreme Court, a true, just regime,
Let’s change all the rules so Democrats win,
The press fails to hold in those grins with a beam.

Dot com and dot net, all figured, Al, he,
And Tipper and Al, in Love Story be,
Discovery abounds in Al’s insular mind,
What next feat will Al Gore man, himself to assign?

So Chads dimpled and pregnant get counted with glee,
By boards so objective, makes few Demis blush,
Yet it’s still not enough, fair minded agree,
We must throw out those votes from the boys over seas,
Now there is a topic for Hardball and Rush.
Dot com and dot net, all figured, Al, he,
And Tipper and Al, in Love Story be,
Discovery abounds in Al’s insular mind,
What next feat will Al Gore man, himself to assign?

What’s left to do but contest the election,
Look over all votes for Supreme Court inspection,
If that doesn’t work than, emergency be,
Is it four more years, with Clintons, Gore, three?

Dot com and dot net, all figured, Al, he,
And Tipper and Al, in Love Story be,
Discovery abounds in Al’s insular mind,
What next feat will Al Gore man, himself to assign?
